I was doing some research and I discovered that Joseph Grimaldi's father was extremely superstitious around the number 14 and had a phobia of it. He'd have fits of anxiety when the 14th of the month was getting close and then be fine after. Ironically but also weirdly, he was born on the 14th, got married on the 14th and died on the 14th.
Was this the inspiration for the 14 fears in TMA? Or is it just a really wild coincidence?
Interesting stuff. I was not aware of this and I would be hugely, wildly surprised if @jonnywaistcoat factored it in, in any way.
I suspect it’s just “one of those things”.
Heyo! I'm sorry if this has been asked before but are you planning on any remastering of the original 100 or so Magnus Archive episodes? Some of the mixing on them makes it difficult to listen to in the car because of the volume fluctuations. Not that I won't relisten every year anyways.

We get asked for this a lot so I can explain why we haven’t yet.
Thats a huge amount of work but our team are absolutely capable of handling it.
The problem is that a bunch of original audio was lost due to hardware failures back when I was running everything on third hand broken tech.
That means there is no original audio to work from and fixing it without that audio is very VERY difficult and expensive. I have tried a few times to find and repair the dodgy hard drives but it always gets pushed down the priority list because there’s no guarantee it’s even salvageable and so there’s always something more urgent.
So maybe one day, never say never, but I wouldn’t hold your breath.
