November 2025

Just wanted to congratulate you and the team on such a fantastic show and performance of The Hilltop👏🏼

There will of course be no spoilers here, but the acting, staging, story- getting to see moments of Magnus come to life in a way I thought I’d never see- astonishing and I can’t applaud you all enough!!!

Can’t wait to rewatch and relive the experiences when there’s a recording available!

Also, it was so much fun to meet Hannah, she is beyond wonderful!!!

Seeing as this is meant to be an ask and not just undying applause, without any spoilers, what was your personal favourite moment of opening night?

Thank you all for an unforgettable experience!

Honestly? Finishing my monologue. It’s an absolute bastard to get right.

Dear Alex, you looked exceedingly dapper in your waistcoat at the Hilltop premiere, so in case you were worrying about that, you can stop it now. I have one question, and perhaps it will be hard or even impossible to answer it without spoilers, but since you claimed at the q&a that the best way of making you do something is suggesting it will be hard or even impossible, here goes: In which scene did you want to put that pyro effect you were begging everyone to be allowed to use? (I’m going out on a limb and guessing it wasn’t your monologue. Which was amazing, btw (not putting in more descriptive adjectives so as to not spoil anything).)

Oh I wanted so much unescessary pyro but the show you’ve seen has been written around it’s absence.

I’d have loved to do some bullshit with a real fireplace that gets out of hand but twas not meant to be.

when you do stuff like the hilltop (which i am unfortunately not able to see, why are you guys british?), do you feel more stressed about it or are you more enjoying it? or both?

Honestly? Probably Stressed? Lots of points of failure in live theatre and we need to change or suspend various company processes to give us time to do it. It is also fun but there’s a lot of responsibility on me and other crew to juggle various hats.

Hi sir, once the recording for The Hilltop is released and Protocol is finished, when do you think the best time to listen to The Hilltop will be during a full relisten of the series? Like do you think it'll still be best heard right after episode 50 or do you think that during a relisten it'd fit better in a different spot among the list of episodes?

Originally Hilltop was intended to fall after episode 60. I’d advise avoiding seeing it before episode 50 of Protocol. It won’t ruin the show or anything but you’ll be getting answers earlier than in series if you do.
