Who are your favorite characters to draw (was this worded right😅)?
I’d say right now Laudna and Imogen… I still really like to draw Beauregard. She’s a great reason to do anatomy and movement studies!
I also love to draw Jaina and Sylvanas…
Oh boi I guess I just love drawing women XD To be honest, I just love drawing human/humanoid characters, and the occasional monster too!
I used to draw mostly guys when I was a bit younger. I thought that drawing women was too hard! I guess I was stuck with this idea that you need to use curves and softer strokes to draw women that are visually appealing… Well, I changed my mind and now I draw mostly women… And none of them are super soft and with exaggerated curves. (not that it is forcibly wrong, just that it’s not my style)
I’ve had a lot of good artists and shows/games to look up to. They taught me that you don’t need to always draw one super stereotyped body to create an appealing design for female characters.
I love that nowadays we have way more diversity in video games, movies, tv-shows, animated series! There is still some work on this point but I am confident we will keep having more and more good representations that everyone can identify with and feel emotionally connected to!
