I'm very curious about which brush you're using for rendering colours (like in your latest c3 77 sketch) I love the effect it has.

I usually look for other artists brush packs that I like for painting. I am not advanced enough to be making my own brushes and there are already great packs out there for a reasonable price.
For this one I used Esben Lash ’s (link) standard pack and I think one or two from the Leyendecker pack as well!
Apterus Sabbas has great brushes too but i am not sure if you can still find them nowadays.

Mugshots from old times are really cool refs for portraits IMO.
Another week another series of portraits for training. Based on old mugshots and other old photos for reference.
Trying to keep the level of detail and slowly improve the speed at which I draw.
Not getting lost in the details and drawing in successive passes, from broad shapes to smaller details.
last one for the portraits studies.
Gonna try something else this week. Probably some props / objects and some colors. And style exploration maybe ? Or just cute stuff :D
