hi!! thanks so much!! my redbubble situation is mmmmmm weird at the moment because i no longer have a paypal account. i’ve tried looking into alternative print-on-demand services and i Have found a couple that had payout options other than paypal, but they mostly specialize in apparel and nobody’s interested in that let’s be honest, least of all me. 🤭
however! i think i might be able to put up my stuff on redbubble anyway and maybe they’ll just, idk, hold onto my money until i find a friend with a paypal account that will let me use it or some other sort of ridiculous roundabout shenanigans. i wanna try at least! i will see if redbubble will allow me to upload new stuff and if it does i’m gonna let y'all know both here and on twitter. will try to figure this whole thing out by the end of the week!!

Hi! I tried your lineart brush and I'm so confused, how do you achieve those lines with it? :O
oh idk is this is what the point of confusion is, but i forgot to mention that for a sketchier look i sometimes set the brush texture to Paper 02 (i’m not Too sure that it’s a default texture but i am reasonably sure 😂). it’s underneath the brush shape setting (which is set to Spread & Noise for my regular line art brush)
so my regular line art brush looks like this (i also use it for the sketch and/or line-art for my full-render pieces):
and this is the sketchier version with that texture!
yesterday i was like damn i sure like drawing fancy clothes, and i like drawing Essek, and i like drawing Essek in fancy clothes, so i went on twitter and asked my followers if i should start a weekly series where i do just that (i.e. draw Essek in fancy clothes), and you know what, people were much more enthusiastic than i expected! ‘Essek of the week’ is a thing now. tune in every tuesday (i’m posting this one on wednesday cause yesterday i was busy drawing a bunch of other stuff and answering emails and stuff)

i needed to continue my it’s always sunny in philadelphia x cr redraws. but is it really a redraw if we all know that at some point the mighty nein definitely sang under Essek’s window in a perfect recreation of that one caroling scene from A Very Sunny Christmas

hi! thank you!! uhhh i think the artists that are my main source of inspiration when it comes to painting are Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, J. C. Leyendecker and Claude Monet 🤔 for very different reasons! and ever since i started drawing in earnest (which was over 15 years ago) my style has been influenced by tons of different mangaka, the main dude being Kishimoto. i know Naruto is like cringy and whatnot but Kishi’s poses and faces and hands and perspective are just too damn good ✊️😔
