i never really noticed it before, but i’ve realized that i actually give essek quite large and defined facial features overall, which gave me a silly idea of essek not being considered conventionally attractive by elven beauty standards. could be an interesting concept to explore

hi! i’ve thought a lot about recording some process videos, but in order to do that i need to figure out screen recording and video editing software first, which is a lot of work, and if i’m being honest i’m also somewhat embarrassed to show the mess that is my art process to the entire world LOL i might come around to the idea in the future, but for now i take progress shots of many of my pictures! you can see them in my #zmeess progress shots tag.

ah, thank you! i’m not entirely sure what you mean, but if you’re talking about illustrating some canon scenes from the apogee solstice episode, then no, not really. i’m a character artist through and through, dramatic scenery and/or multicharacter art isn’t really my bailiwick. one of my new year resolutions for 2023 was/has indeed been to start incorporating more detailed environments into my art, but i’m still only tentatively venturing out of my comfort zone. maybe in the future!
