here’s the deal lads: in the span of two weeks i got ill with covid, lost half of a tooth, accidentally set my bed on fire and had to have my phone repaired with mediocre results. i NEEDED something light in my truly comical life, and drawing tiny Esseks has been a blast. i hope you enjoy them too (he meeps when you pick him up)

hi lali! i wish i could 😭 unfortunately i can’t use any print on demand services because paypal is entirely unavailable to me, and i can’t print and mail stickers myself due to how unreliable postal services are in my country at the moment. i’ve considered making the sheets available in a higher resolution on my boosty for people to print out themselves, but i’m not sure yet if i want to take the plunge. thank you for the suggestion, it’s been really nice to hear how much folks are enjoying my silly chibis 💜

what kind of eepy noises do chibi Essek and chibi Caleb make?
Essek was the leader of the cheek kiss poll for a good while, but right at the end Caleb took off and won by just ten votes! the whole poll made me think that i can easily picture Essek defaulting to cheek kisses rather than kisses on the lips as an expression of romantic affection, and i also chuckled a bit at the thought that Caleb going for a demure cheek kiss rather than some mouth-on-mouth action when they said goodbye at the Grove might have even scored him some brownie points with Essek 🤭
also while i was working on this one i was reminded of the first shadowgast picture i ever drew, which was also Caleb kissing Essek on the cheek! it was very fun to compare the two and see that the way i draw the wizards hasn’t changed much at all. i really had a clear picture of them in mind from the start didn’t i LOL
the key to Essek’s peaceful nighttime reading is tiring his young man out with wizardly activities enough for said man to fall asleep in the middle of some cuddly kisses : )
