first of all, fan interpretations are a thing that exists. second, the whole ‘pajamas’ thing is a metaphor cause nobody wears goddamn shoes or capes or codpieces to bed. third, knights quite literally wear shoes that look like sneakers, and maids canonically have front hoodie pockets.
