happy belated v-day!

been a bit too busy traveling to finish or even start my shadowgast v-day painting, but hoping to have some fun with it in the next few days. in the meantime, have a little cozy v-day shadowgast plushie picture to celebrate the occasion 💜🧡

a photograph of hand-sewn plushies of Essek and Caleb, who are characters from Critical Role. they have taller chibi proportions and are made of short plush (Essek is lavender and Caleb is peach), with yarn hair (off-white and dark auburn respectively) and cute embroidered faces—Essek has a small smile on, while Caleb's is a bit wider and crooked. Caleb is wearing a cream-colored shirt and terracotta slacks, with a soft tasseled knitted scarf around his neck in shades of white and grayish green. these are entirely hand-sewn, with moving legs, arms, and heads, and are based on my chibi shadowgast designs. i drafted the patterns myself and god knows it’s been a Journey 😂 but it’s been super fun too! this is an on-going project i’ve been working on since last summer or spring i think, and if the universe is kind to me i will finish their winter outfits before the snow melts away entirely so i can take some nice Aeor-flavored pictures.

so you might remember that a few weeks ago i ran a poll on what kind of v-day shadowgast picture i should do; naturally ‘smutty’ won by a large margin, and i thought you know what, i’d gotten a healthy chuckle out of one of the players joking about Essek wearing glass slippers under his cloak back in c2, so i might as well create something out of that. so i did. happy belated valentine’s day friends
