a humorous black and white fan comic featuring characters from Critical Role. in the first two panels, Essek (wearing his Seth disguise) addresses Dorian with "Careful, you're a heart-breaker". Dorian is looking at him with an incredibly confused expression, question marks exploding around him. in the next two panels, Caleb says to Orym with an intense face, "If not now, when?", and Orym is staring down with wide eyes, sweat beading on his forehead, multiple question marks running in a row behind him. at the bottom, Essek is in his drow form, wearing a comfortable house robe, his wild curly hair pushed back with a sleeping mask resting high on his head. he is drinking from a coffee mug, holding a sending stone in the other hand, and says "Do you think our intervention has helped?". below him in a different panel and clearly in a different physical space, Caleb is holding his sending stone up to his mouth with one hand, and has a small toy alligator in the other, inspecting it carefully. he responds, "Absolutely. Jester is gasping in an exaggerated manner, her eyes wide and mouth hanging open. 2. Caleb is turning Ashton around with his hands on their shoulders so that he can see the glass portion of their skull better. He is saying "Oh, that is fascinating" with a focused and curious expression on his face. 3. Yasha is gesturing awkwardly with her hands and saying "How fun!" with a small smile on her face. 4. a sketch spread depicting Caleb Widogast from Critical Role, based on and referenced from various bits of in-game roleplay. he is a freckled man with hair just long enough to put in a small messy ponytail. in some sketches he has a full beard, in some only a little bit of stubble. the drawings are done in a semi-realistic style and focus on the subtlety of facial expression. many are head shots, some are larger; one of them depicts him casting Acid Arrow, a magical arrow stretched between his arms, in a semblance of drawing a real bow. in another, he has one of his arms up in a tense gesture, casting Cat's Ire. in a third, he is being hugged by Beauregard, his head held close to her chest; he seems almost limp, accepting the hug with a thousand yard stare, while Beau smiles into his hair.ALT
