i also totally forgot to draw Toge’s seal at first because my memory and attention to detail are nonexistent apparently, but only posted that version on twitter before i realized that. y'all tumblr folk are lucky today, you get the better Toge

one of my new year resolutions is to draw my dnd characters more cause some of them don’t even have full-body portraits (and i’m an artist for god’s sake), so i decided to start with the first one i ever played! she’s a tiefling clockwork soul sorcerer and her name is Lozjna 🕰 i played her only once in a short one shot and she did literally nothing because i had made the mistake of creating a character who’s incredibly cautious and sticking to that while roleplaying her LOL

from this spread you’d think i love playing sorcerers but that’s not true. i fucking hate playing sorcerers. idk what happened there. my favorite class to play is monks
this is a pic a drew in november and then scrapped cause i’d made a bunch of mistakes right at the start, but today i opened it again and thought yeah it can be salvaged. spruced it up a lil bit and cropped the thing too. as one is wont to do of course
i’m drawing Verin atm bc i’m forever on my dynasty fashion bullshit, and i did a little Essek on the side for comparison! i love drawing blood relatives cause it’s really fun to figure out how to give them similar facial features but not make them look the same
unrelated but i’ve got a pet headcanon that Verin is barely two years younger than Essek, which is nothing in elf years and contributes to their petty sibling rivalry and solidarity both
as the ambassador of Essek wearing white i had to draw my default design for his Aeor outfit (it has appeared in two of my drawings btw, including the latest sg piece!). i think this can count towards my Essek of the week series, which i need to continue like so bad
eight billion layers here!! a thermal shirt you can’t see, a turtleneck, a tunic over it, then a coat with a hood and the sexy split sleeves, and then finally a cloak! gotta stay warm And fashionable my friends. also very importantly gloves, which cover the turtleneck’s sleeves and regrettably come off when somatic casting is required
commission for @westwardnine on twitter, their FFXIV warrior of light Niersai! this picture was very fun to work on, i don’t think i’ve ever drawn such a tall character and the white fabric was a nice challenge to render 🤍

for the people who are interested in my process! i accidentally overwrote the pic of the flat color stage, it’s much more rough than what you can see in the second progress shot
+ some rough color studies i did before i started working on the rendering in earnest, i do these for almost every full-render picture actually. this piece was almost the third version but i didn’t like where it was going. will probably recycle that color palette in some other pic
