Hello! I only recently found you, but I absolutely adore your art! I was wondering if you were planning on putting your Essek and Shadowgast pieces up as prints? I don't see them on your redbubble and would love to get my hands on them if possible ❤️

hi!! thanks so much!! my redbubble situation is mmmmmm weird at the moment because i no longer have a paypal account. i’ve tried looking into alternative print-on-demand services and i Have found a couple that had payout options other than paypal, but they mostly specialize in apparel and nobody’s interested in that let’s be honest, least of all me. 🤭

however! i think i might be able to put up my stuff on redbubble anyway and maybe they’ll just, idk, hold onto my money until i find a friend with a paypal account that will let me use it or some other sort of ridiculous roundabout shenanigans. i wanna try at least! i will see if redbubble will allow me to upload new stuff and if it does i’m gonna let y'all know both here and on twitter. will try to figure this whole thing out by the end of the week!!

I've been following you over two separate blogs and I don't even care what fandoms you draw for (even though your recent essek art has me swooning) your art is just so beautiful, it feels so crisp and other things I can't describe but are all amazing, etc anyway I love you and your work 😍

hi! i use paint tool sai2 and my brush settings vary quite a bit depending on what kind of effect i need! but my base settings are these:

Hi! I tried your lineart brush and I'm so confused, how do you achieve those lines with it? :O

oh idk is this is what the point of confusion is, but i forgot to mention that for a sketchier look i sometimes set the brush texture to Paper 02 (i’m not Too sure that it’s a default texture but i am reasonably sure 😂). it’s underneath the brush shape setting (which is set to Spread & Noise for my regular line art brush)

so my regular line art brush looks like this (i also use it for the sketch and/or line-art for my full-render pieces):

and this is the sketchier version with that texture!

Hi! I love your art style, what/who are some of your art inspirations?

hi! thank you!! uhhh i think the artists that are my main source of inspiration when it comes to painting are Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, J. C. Leyendecker and Claude Monet 🤔 for very different reasons! and ever since i started drawing in earnest (which was over 15 years ago) my style has been influenced by tons of different mangaka, the main dude being Kishimoto. i know Naruto is like cringy and whatnot but Kishi’s poses and faces and hands and perspective are just too damn good ✊️😔
