my two latest Essek sketches, the first one was me going ‘damn never drawn the emo boy smiling’ so i gave him Frumpkin, and the second one is inspired by the promo video cause like do we actually know whether Essek will appear in the m9 oneshot? no. will that keep me from drawing him though? also no
i was organizing my cr art moment today and discovered i’d only drawn one (1) shadowgast pic. i opened my wardrobe to access the mirror on the inside, i looked at myself and i said, you gotta get freaky zmeess. it’s time you drew some real n/sfw wizard action
ep37 was super good and sad and tragic but this is the line that made me lose my entire shit. i heard it and it was said with such a flat worried voice and no pauses between the words and i couldn’t help myself, i choked on my tea and then laughed like a bastard in the middle of Laudna’s truly tragic backstory
yesterday i was like damn i sure like drawing fancy clothes, and i like drawing Essek, and i like drawing Essek in fancy clothes, so i went on twitter and asked my followers if i should start a weekly series where i do just that (i.e. draw Essek in fancy clothes), and you know what, people were much more enthusiastic than i expected! ‘Essek of the week’ is a thing now. tune in every tuesday (i’m posting this one on wednesday cause yesterday i was busy drawing a bunch of other stuff and answering emails and stuff)
