I was inspired by one of my favorite songs, “Seagulls on Bicycles” by Carnival Youth. Listening to it makes me feel carefree, and I wanted to convey that feeling in this drawing.
He’s not laughing hysterically because he was right about the exit being fake. He’s losing it because he just revealed, to everyone, that given the opportunity, Jax would choose to stay in the circus forever - even if that meant dooming them all to be stuck as well.

We’re talking about the song “Puppy Princess” by Hot Freaks! These lines are especially fitting! “I try my best to keep you entertained” “Hold me, I’m your bunny, Tell me I’m not funny”. After all, he is a bunny and he is “the funny one”, and she said that he is not “the funny one”, right?? You see!!! Just like the song goes… And he told her that he entertained her!!
