not very anatomically accurate, cuz I didn’t look up any references - mostly messed around with meat texture and just… would call the muscle structure a very artistic liberty sort of take
Combined this muscle study with adaptable work. Honestly really happy with this result, since I feel like I’ve been keeping my promise to myself to put more effort into future works of mine…
When I find the time I really wanna try doing occasional art for other people - not just friends, but also just like— people whose art I like?? And just in general random people whose content I appreciate.
Been over 4 years since I really did that last and I would absolutely adore getting back into that habit… it’s a very nice way of showing appreciation and sharing good vibes I think
I hate it so much when somebody is actually being unreasonable and mean cuz I spend like several weeks double checking to make sure I am not just being petty cuz my imposter syndrome is just goin “But what IF I am the problem?? I should fix that then–?? I wanna be a good person after all”
The amount of times I double check with friends just like “heyyy Idk if I am getting this wrong but somebody said __ to me? Is my discomfort justified Idk man?”
I LOVE your speedpaints!! Will you do more videos?
Awe thank you - I really don’t know if I will tbh, since lately the only completed renders I do tend to be for commission work.
But maybe I will be able to make more in the future! ;; I definitely have caught myself feeling a bit self conscious about video content, since I tend to just have much higher expectations toward myself as of late.
What has been the most badass kill any of your dnd ocs has done? 👀
I don’t recall a lot of them, and note I have yet to really get past lvl 9 encounters… and some of my favorite DnD moments tend to be social over combat. u-u
But a recent encounter with an assassin I was pretty proud of, especially since I was accidentally one level beneath every other party member and thus was lacking multi-attack and additional hit points etc.
Playing a paladin with a martial homebrew meant dealing 41dmg per turn - 2 rounds + attack of opportunity when they fled, the enemy had around 200HP, and my character dealt 110 out of the total damage and knocked them out when they grew scared of my character and tried to back out of the fight on like 20HP.
Dealt non-lethal because the party really liked the NPC… but man, denying a little scrawny bastard an escape route cuz they got cocky is a different type of satisfactory. u-u
I have not really played anything other than druid much so far, so getting to play a high-damage dealer like this is hella exciting.
This is the first time in a bit that I have made a character post without making the character too obvious, and seeing everyone have their own ideas in response to it is genuinely really fun, I almost don’t want to give context since it may be underwhelming, haha
Very fun to hear everyone’s thoughts and ideas - think there was even a poem somewhere in there… honestly made my day.

I need ya’ll to know that this hand was brought to u from the same character
Like I can draw, bring something down to paper that fills the standard need and whatnot… but it just feels so bland, so uninspired and mediocre… perhaps even too easy, too much like I was just repurposing old lessons or attempting to replicate what I saw elsewhere.
As of late, I have felt any compliments unearned. Been skipping past comments I receive, briefly acknowledging them but hardly deeming them praise, not because they are not kind, but because I worry they are as brief as the work I have done.
I feel like I am taking credit for the work of another, that none of my works are my own and none of them compete with some of the works I see some of my mutuals creating. I feel like I am boring and constantly in need of affirmation.
I want to do something more interesting but no direction has felt quite right yet. Honestly not sure if I am burnt out, pushing through an imposter syndrome or perhaps just thinking about it too much…
man, I would like to be more compelling of a person sometimes, but also I might have just not been getting enough sleep.
Took most of the month off from “work”, mostly due to not feeling ready to tackle it yet. I feel a bit better now, but it did feel intimidating for a while… being scared I wouldn’t know how to place a shadow, or choose a color … all of those things suddenly felt intimidating.
Going to just breathe and keep trying… I’m sure I’ll arrive somewhere soon, just gotta stay optimistic and stop worrying about the tiny things too much.
Hey there! just wanted to let you know that I'm kind of obsessed with your dog/wolf headed demon ocs. I love your art so so so much and I'd love to hear more about them!!!
It makes me genuinely very happy! They are presently probably up there as one of my favorite characters to draw, so I hope to slowly get around to posting more of them.
They are (technically) my DnD character, meant to be one entity that split into two and each maintaining respective traits that used to complete the other. Somewhat abstractly romanticized demonic stuff yada yada.
The Gamemaster who runs the game is my best friend, so I was very excited to do improv with her playing the other half as an NPC, just seeing how their personalities connect or derail as events affect them over time.
They are meant to be somewhat corrupted gods, not immediately powerful ones, but entities that travel through worlds and got ultimately lost in the Abyss. c:
Those hands you drew look almost picture perfect to something I "gave" to one of my players in our home d&d campaign. I dropped it in the group chat and everyone was like 👀 👀 👀 👀. I put the little story in the tags of the reblog. Good stuff, great show, The Raven Queen is pleased.
