The context is that he is a tiny pest-control critter on a pirateship in a small campaign I hope to run, lovingly named cannonball by the fellow cabinboy.
Not to be mistaken with cannonball (the cannonball)
I present to you the face of a killer. Greyson is my partner's retired working dog. Part pug, part whippet, all moody teenager. We love him but also make fun of him and call him a cryptid constantly. He's wall eyed normally.
Had to assume his drip completed with a befitting pair of pants.
Some personal DnD art for the means of self-indulgence. I was originally just drafting up a rough idea for myself but eventually figured this one could be worth the refinement. Glad I spent the time on it, felt good.
Thank you for your time ❀
Added a small timelapse - the quality ended up pretty bad all things considered, so Idk if its worth uploading to YT like this. TvT

Perhaps it’d be fun to see the full creature concept behind this one. It’s a work in progress, given the character’s visual has not been fully revealed in the campaign yet and mostly teased at, with concepts being approved as “partly correct”, but nevertheless, life is too short not to get lost in ideas!
I love a lot of your artwork! Very beautiful concepts and character work! I just have one question, what program are you using? I use PaintTool SAI right now but have been considering branching out
Greetings to ya! Thank you kindly :0
I use Paint Tool Sai 2 for most of my sketches, given I enjoy the way the stabilizer naturally interacts, but often enjoy Krita for painting, given its tools satiate my brush-appetite a tat more than Sai can as of now. You can buy the full version of Krita on steam, but nevertheless should be downloadable for free. I am unfamiliar with the difference between the free and purchased version exactly, but both are usable last I recall!
Beyond that, I’ve very VERY recently started trying out Rebelle 7 in its 30-day trial form. If you are considering expanding from your current position, I will highly recommend giving it a shot! Additionally heard of this program, which apparently has most if not all Photoshop features recreated, from my understanding? Have not given it a shot yet myself, but perhaps it interests you. - https://www.photopea.com/
Summary: Krita (free), Rebelle 7 (free trial), Photopea (free), and Clip Studio all sounded very promising last I recall.
“The huge anaconda measures 26ft-long, weighs 440lbs and its head is the same size as a human’s. The Northern Green Anaconda was found by TV wildlife presenter, Professor Freek Vonk.Until now, only one species of Green Anaconda has been recognised in the Amazon. Researchers have given the new species the Latin name Eunectes akayima, which means the Northern Green Anaconda. This incredible footage shows Professor Vonk swimming next to the giant anaconda
I don’t think I have the chops for D&D or other tabletop RPGs but I could make a good DM’s assistant. I don’t play the game but I sit and listen and then after the session the DM can ask me for ideas.
and I am in character as the king’s most trusted advisor the whole time
I could say things like “yes, my liege, most clever, my liege” and keep notes for the DM and maybe supply a few character voices. and serve everyone very sinister tea.
No. I’m not looking for any words. Dungeon Mentat suits me just fine.
I believe he rolled a 3,my lord… He does this to spite you…
Although I feel like I have spent most of the last 3-4 years attempting to refine my humanoid art, it has been one hell of a treat to just … consistently return to creature-ish content (in a non-profit-oriented way, I suppose.). Feels like coming home, in a way.
There is just a certain charm to studying art for a long while, and then turning back around to finally draw what you had imagined, with just a little bit more of an understanding of what it is you were aiming for.
Just mindless self-serving rambles.
(additionally, do not mind me, slapping my watermark on everything now- you never know)
hiya there!! uh, since with the news of tumblr being shitty (they have an official blog post via staff) where else can i follow you? do you have a bluesky? :'0c
Oh gosh- not another one-
Uhhh uhm I am still getting used to bluesky, but I sometimes remember to post on there! Otherwise, for such things as adoptables & commissions, I do keep a discord server for notifications! ;;
Anywhere I tend to go I got on my carrd, hope that works!
