I do not really dare to go too far in regards to concerns on Twitter, but man, having your characters heavily imitated is one thing… but seeing your asexual/aromantic character be heavily referenced and then seeing just full-on heavy NSFW art of them feels like a whole new level of uncomfortable.

I tend to be rather lenient and I think I have gone past the phase of pointing it out if people’s characters resemble my own a bit “too” much, but when I notice it I know I still feel icky about it.

Like I know it is unavoidable, it’s a thing people go through, and it’s a thing that especially a lot of younger artists do without paying much mind to it, I don’t even mind if a piece is used for reference and they don’t think to mention it… but man with especially characters… I just know it irks me.

I just felt like putting my thoughts somewhere, Idk if people read these but hey its Tumblr why not.

Because not too many people follow me on here compared to other sites I just feel a bit safer talking about it tbh.
