Hi!! I'm a long time follower and fan of your art and I have a question, how did you begin to sell your art? What was the process like and do you have any advice

I have always enjoyed printing my artwork and gifting them to friends and mutuals, but it took me quite some time and confidence to actually start selling my art.

I’m forever grateful to the first handful of people who reached out to me to ask if my work was available as prints, they were so very kind and patient. That’s genuinely how I started.

My advice: start with your basic internet research, select a couple of your art, don’t go crazy with your options. have them in small quantity/sizes.

If you plan to ship your orders by yourself but have never sent anything before: find that one friend who lives far away who’s more than happy to receive your merch as a test run. Feedback and encouragement from your friend group helps a lot!

Lastly, you can indirectly learn a few things by supporting your favorite artists. Order something from their shop and look at how they did their shipping, packaging, shop layout etc, this can give you a few ideas on what to expect. Everyone runs their store a little differently!
