i’m sure you don’t mean any harm by this post, but i thought i’d address it! pretty simply, i used a photo reference for my latest drawing, and i believe dogpelts used the same reference as well. (:

this picture was found on pinterest! i wish i knew the exact photographer, but unfortunately it was uncredited when i found it.

i save TONS of images on my pinterest, and i frequently love doing photostudies. here’s some pictures i have saved that yall might see soon!

i absolutely do NOT endorse tracing ANY artists work— and i know that maybe i’ll draw something that comes from the same photo reference as another artist! no harm in this. there’s a lot of pinterest pics i see EVERYWHERE, and it’s kinda awesome to see other artist’s spins on it. pinterest is an AWESOME resource for any artist to draw poses, faces, practice light and color, etc.
