Hi I hope this is an okay question to ask, I love your art and your character designs and I was wondering how you find like. references or inspiration for clothing? I'm bad at visualising and I don't know how to just imagine the clothes I want and idk if you even use references for clothes or just make them up but I thought I'd ask just incase
Usually depending on the character i will just make them up!
But if im really struggling like its a certain style that i dont understand like ricoco or venetian ill usually make a pintrest board to just have lots of designs in one place that i can look threw and just pick that out. I also take a lot of inspiration from FFXIV, Fire emblem and drag!

It takes me anything between about 6-10 hours usually but it depends on the complexity of the piece sometimes it can be a little more sometimes a little less but i’d say usually its 6-10 hours!

Also cause it was brought up a lot when i posted it originally the proficiency in perception is what i chose over blind sight or eco location, you can totally add it or dress it up as that but these are goblins not actual bats 🦇

Hello! I just wanted to pop in because I ran across your little Batlin folk, and I’m terribly soft for bat creaturesgoblins! Would it be alright if I drew one just to draw? Sorry, I know I’m a bit late to this party, but I’ve been dying to ask; did you do the art for Live to Tell the Tale and The Monsters Know What They’re Doing? I had read your comic on Tapas “By the Die” and then saw the cover and thought the styles looked very similar.
What is your favorite thing about each of your OCs?

Ego: his awful shitty beard and i love how hes so passionate, he has very strong emotions, love, anger, sadness he feels very intensely and with all his heart also i love his while genral rat energy
Flint: hes been threw so much but hes still so soft and kind, hes incredibly loyal to the people he does love he would stand in the way and take an attack for them without hesitation, he also really loves his pet hyena Daisy and his husband Athra, also he makes bread but only plain bread but finds carrot cake funny
Seren: Hes so free spirited and has a lot of love for everyone he can see everyones individual sparkle and loves to see it shine, he also only wears statment pieces and inspires me to dress how i want to dress no matter how loud it is
Fig: the sweetest angel of them all, hes so kind and soft even though he so large, he has a very innocent view on the world he just appreciates the little things like plants, and mushrooms and little animals hes just a warm hug of a character
Jolly: i love their backstory and what they are as a character, literally a personification of a mass grave that has come to save people from dying unrightfully under corrupt church and government, they are so fun to play like a very spooky oliver twist
Sometimes my oc will tell me and sometimes i look threw baby names and names that mean the general vibe im going for
It really depends on the oc literally some just walk in like “whats up heres my name, heres my design and ill take a seat here” while others i look at for ages like whats your name? What do you look like?? And theyre just standing there like 👁👄👁
Its just awful its like 3 strands, hes like 24 so hes still just a lil guy whos facial hair isnt coming in fully but like…its awful and he refuses to get rid of it and his terrible “moustache” which is literally like 2 hairs ITS AWFUL not even really a beard or moustache but he loves it and he really doesnt suit not having it.
