I just stumbled onto your art recently and really love how you shade and color characters! I was wondering if you had any tutorials for how your shading/coloring process, similar to how you did the coloring for Astarion's heads here ( /post/735985029059051520/here-he-is-astarion ). I just think the way you shade is dope and wanted to ask!

We have tutorials on our Patreon for Theurgist tier members about a more detailed render, but the general process remains the same — shading/coloring for the art with Astarion is just a simpler version compared to our usual one. Additionally, we regularly publish step-by-step materials for our big illustrations and other content, so we’re sure you will find some useful things!

Yee no problem!! Her eyes are really beautiful and all thanks to this mod: New eye colours (and blindness for all eyes). For Marrow we use Bloodshot version + Blindness effect (67% or 83%). Don’t remember which color exactly, but you can try different ones :)
can i ask what marrow & diamant were like as children? :O

Every time when it comes to the childhood of our ocs, it’s gets us all excited we love it so much ;-; Actually we’ve taken some liberties with the Durge canon here, especially with Diamant’s backstory — we like to think they shared a common childhood, and for this story we created Diamant’s own lore as a mysterious childhood friend who becomes Marrow’s right-hand in the Bhaal cult after she became a leader
So Marrow grew up a bit of a wild child with a fiery personality, and making friends wasn’t easy for her. Her mentor was the only person she felt really close to tbh.. Buuut then, one day, she met Diamant, this freaky guy from a nearby monastery. They were a really odd pair, but that’s what made their friendship so special
And Diamant always knows just how to push Marrow’s buttons — he loves teasing her, and she always finds a way to get back at him (usually by biting and fighting lol)

Ah yes, we just made a new pack with our brushes for lineart :) Since we use both Photoshop and SAI for drawing, the brushes available in two variations — they are not exact copies of each other, but similar enough not to see the difference

Actually this is only a small piece of a full illustration for some local BG3 zine. We were lucky enough to get Astarion and make this magnum opus (Can’t share it publicly yet, but the full version is already on our P×treon)

I love how you draw kids! I've been trying to draw some of my ocs as their younger selves and i find I keep coming back to your art. They look so alive and expressive! (though this is true of every character you two draw) Thank you for sharing!! <3
Awww thank you so much!! We’re so glad <3 <3 Drawing ocs as kids is always such an interesting experience and finding out what they would look like - sometimes someone is literally a copy of an adult self, and the other is like a completely different character :D
