So Marrow can call her a really close person and a special friend who understands and supports her more than some others at the camp despite the Durge episodes. And these feelings are mutual

Don’t know how well you know BG3 and Durge origin (and we don’t want to spoiler), but Marrow’s “artificial” status is part of it, as is the purpose of her creation. But in any case, this is the game canon. In some way
But if we talk about her appearance..hmm… She is pretty “prickly” compared to other tieflings in the game: her skin is covered with growths and spikes that can become harder if she is physically stressed. She’s not a soft girl in every way yeah
And also some double details — 2 horns pairs, double tail tip and spikes on the shoulders/hips, split tongue, two fingers on her tiny “wings”. There is no special idea in this, just a visual design and part of her personality
Much of her appearance and habits are bestial and feral tbh. She is full with wild energy 😤
I must add that I love her either way. I support women's wrongs as well as women's rights.
Resist! Definitely resist. It’s hard to call Marrow a good and kind person, she is grey-moral in many ways, but she really seeks freedom and her true self. But she is a obsessed with revenge and sometimes cannot resist urges. In our headcanon, Marrow goes through a lot more checks throughout story: in dialogues, with random NPCs, in battles, and she can’t always control herself… This is why we draw her so often covered in blood ahah
So yeah it’s understandable why some ppl think she’s evil and embrace the Urge. But no, Marrow wants freedom from her past and nature

Thank you!! 🖤 Well, tbh we’re kinda like explorers. We have an array of resources, but nothing too specific. So our learning process is fairly chaotic and unprofessional: we don’t have much special literature or anything like that behind us; in most cases, we’re just like eager sponges soaking everything we can from the world and socials
But speaking of things we find useful, anatomical 3D models and photo references (from artstation, sketchfab, pinterest, etc) are definitely at the top of our list. We also often take our own photos to get a better understanding of poses/angle/muscles… it doesn’t always work well, we’re damn skinny creatures lmao, but you know you’re your own biggest anatomical resource that’s always with you
As for color, we have enough color theory and just practice, practice, practice… We believe in learning by doing and make mistakes to grow - reinvent the wheel??? - than to use useful information from others… Sometimes (!) a personal journey can give you more than anything else
But yeah, it’s mostly just some random content like text, picture, video. Let everything around you become a source of inspiration and knowledge
